Review: Oilcloth Splash Mat From Messy Me

Since moving house in February, my poor coffee table has bared the brunt of many a felt tip and paint brush slip, much to my other half’s annoyance. The problem is that we got given this coffee table. It’s not amazing, or particularly pretty, but it serves us well. Especially since I decided to get a rabbit (and huge indoor hutch) rather than a dining table – we now don’t have any room at all for any table and chairs (boo, poor house management, that!) So this little coffee table is where we eat, drink, paint, craft and colour...

Days Out: New Forest Wildlife Park

For my birthday a few weekends ago, Mikey took me camping in The New Forest. Whilst we got up to lots of things over the course of the weekend, the one plan I was really looking forward to was visiting the New Forest Wildlife Park in Hampshire. Giveaway: Hedrin Protect & Go

Like a lot of children, Luke recently got his acceptance letter for the school he’ll be attending in September. Loads of parents, all across the country, will have received their child’s placements and are hopefully happy with the finial decision. With new schools come new experiences and challenges to over come. Yes, it’s exciting, but it’s also a bit scary and overwhelming – there are so many changes your children have to adapt to and school is very different to preschool; secondary school is very different to primary school. There is so much that we all need to take...

Money: Weekly Vegetarian Meal Plan #2

This weekend is my birthday and as a special (budget friendly) treat, Mikey is taking me camping! So that means that our Friday, Saturday and Sunday meals will all be glorious budget BBQ foods. As mentioned in last weeks vegetarian meal plan, Mikey eats meat but doesn’t often get the opportunity to have a “full on” meaty meal because of my being a vegetarian; as you can imagine, he’s very much looking forward to having some classic BBQ food over the weekend. As we’re away from Friday midday, we’ve only really done a shop and plan for four days...
