Review: Pharmaton Vitality Capsules

Being a parent is tough, isn’t it? You’re not such much an early bird or a night owl – just something more like a permanently exhausted pigeon (thank you Facebook memes for that saying). We deal with things like sick bugs through the night, chicken pox, long days out, nightmares, holiday madness, tantrums, repeatedly running round and round playing football in ridiculously hot weather because hearing our children laugh deliriously is worth it, even if you are sweating to death and your back hurts a bit.

Luckily for us, there are a few pick me ups on the market to help combat the fatigue that comes when life as a parent just gets a bit too much. For the past thirty days,  I have been taking Pharmaton Vitality capsules – vitamins and minerals that are clinically proven to fight against tiredness and lack of energy… And let me tell you something, in the last thirty days, I have really put Pharmaton Vitality through it’s paces.

Pharmaton Vitality capsules contain a balanced combination of vitamins and minerals, including standardised ginseng G115, to help relieve tiredness and lack of energy, as well as enhancing mental and physical capacity. Basically, if you’re tired all the time like me, this multivitamin supplement could really increase your mood and energy levels. Perfect for parents, students or people with heavy workloads.

What Are The Capsules Like?

There are definite advantages, in my opinion, to having vitamin and mineral supplements as capsules, rather than tablets.

Most importantly for me, the shape is easier to swallow. Everyone knows that multivitamins are not ‘easy’ to swallow; they’re big, they almost always smell awful and they sometimes get stuck and feel all crumbly in the back of your throat. Yuck. I have childhood memories of giant tablets getting lodged and feeling absolutely gross.

The Pharmaton Vitality capsules are still quite large, but then again, they are packed full of goodness. Despite the size, they are easy to swallow thanks to the shape and smoothness of the capsules surface. Normally, multivitamins have a ‘distinct’ smell. Although still smelling a bit chemically, the Pharmaton Vitality capsules smell a little like chocolate, which I wasn’t expecting at all.

Did It Work?

Over the last thirty days, I have had a lot going on! Most significantly, we suffered through the dreaded chicken pox. Luke actually got away so lightly with his chicken pox, but he was still a bit off and under the weather. He wanted lots of extra attention and needed a lot of one on one time to keep him occupied and his mind off his spots. I had to summon up all my mum energy to power through and do some fun activities like making home made play dough and painting the letters of his name, that’s where the Pharmaton Vitality capsules came in!

I noticed the tablets starting to take effect after about a week. I started to feel a little less tired and was waking up with a bit more energy – essentially, I was waking up and feeling like I had actually slept. That has always been a pretty rare occurrence during my journey through parenthood. Generally, I am feeling a bit brighter and slightly more energised. I wouldn’t say I was a brand new person who suddenly has tonnes of spare energy to spend, but it has certainly provided a pick me up that I desperately needed.

It has meant that I am a calmer mum, able to tackle some situations with a bit more poise, as opposed to feeling frustrated and impatient.

When To Take Pharmaton Vitality Capsules

Pharmaton Vitality capsules are for:

  • The relief of short periods of daily fatigue that is associated with a busy and hectic lifestyle. The symptoms of fatigue are when you are feeling temporary periods of exhaustion caused by things like stress, tiredness and a feeling of weakness or loss of energy.
  • The prevention and treatment of symptoms that may be caused by an unbalanced diet.

I have even heard of people taking Pharmaton Vitality capsules to aid their recovery from illnesses such as glandular fever and post operation recovery.

They have really helped me. I was a bit unsure at first, you know how it is when you look at a price tag and wonder if they’re actually any different to the cheaper options, but these really were great. xx
