Sensory Play: Ain’t No Party Like A Toddler Foam Party
Hello my loves! Awks. Luke loves foam sensory play and it’s pretty much a guaranteed half an hour of occupied toddler time, allowing me to have a cup of tea or hang the washing up. Add a few plastic toys to the mix and everything is ten million times better. We use stacking cups, scoops, bath boats (99p shop), Megabloks and…

Play Dough: Green Lemon Scented
I don’t know about you guys, but play dough seems to have a marvellous effect of my toddler! It’s calming and keeps him focused and busy for ages. One time, he spent three hours (aged 1 1/2) playing with play dough. That was impressive. It’s also a great way to add some sensory fun to play time. I’ve not really experimented with scented play dough until now. We have had colourful, vibrant and sparkly play dough, but no smelly stuff. This time, along with adding green food colouring (we do usually use pint for a more vibrant colour), I added a tablespoon of Sicilian Lemon Flavouring to a basic,…
