The humble chocolate cookie milkshake. Not the healthiest option in the world, but it is definitely one of the tastiest.

Chocolate Cookie Milkshake

AKA. The best thing you’ll ever taste. Probably.

I am a bit of a smoothie fan and I use my Breville Blend-Active loads! After a discussion the other day with a few bloggy buddies, I decided I needed to start making some more milkshakes again. You can’t be healthy all the time, right? So just the other day, I posted a video on my Instagram  of the making of a super tasty banana milkshake. Luke loved it and so did I.

But then I thought, how about something a bit more luxurious?

Something that the kids will love. Something that makes the perfect treat for both kids and adults alike. Something chocolately!

You Will Need:

Milk Chocolate Chip Cookies

White Chocolate Chip Cookies

A big scoop of vanilla ice cream

A glass of milk

How To:

  1. In a jug/tall container put about a quarter of a packet of both milk and white chocolate cookies. In total you will have used about half a pack of cookies. (I did warn you it was unhealthy!)
  2. Get a big old scoop of ice cream and add it to the cookies. We used Morrison’s basic because it’s going to be all mixed together, but you may use some more upmarket brands if you wish.
  3. Pour your glass of milk in. I used whole milk because I really wanted something luxurious and creamy, but feel free to use whatever you like. Use less milk if you want it thicker.
  4. Now it’s all together, use your blender of choice on the ingredients until you have the most heavenly drink in the whole world right in front of you.

I have found that some of the chocolate chips that don’t get whizzed up do sink to the bottom of the mixture. Therefore I’d recommend pouring into a glass before drinking if you’re making it in a personal blender like I did.

For best results, pour it into a beautiful mason jar or mini milk bottle, add a jazzy straw and ENJOY.
