I’ve decided to leave out soft play centres and stay and play/ceramics cafe type attractions because a simple google search will always reveal the closets one to you and I would say, if you’re reading this, there’s probably a good chance you’ve already been to one or two soft play places in your time!

Here is a list of great attractions, days out and walks that will hopefully help you plan your summer. I’ve tried to include as many free and cheap options as possible on the lists, as we all know that being a parent is expensive and, although we want to give our children the best memories, it’s important to remember that what our kids will appreciate more is the time you’ve spent with them, not the money you’ve spent on them! So with that in mind, I hope you’re able to find a few ideas that suit your family and their needs this summer.
