Valentine’s Day Gifts For Pregnant Women

Contains gifted products & aff links.

Being pregnant isn’t the easiest job in the world. Everything is a bit sore or swollen, you feel sick and nauseous, you’re permanently knackered and you’re lugging around a heavy little human with you everywhere you go.

It also means you don’t get to enjoy some of the luxuries you may have enjoyed before. Things like a luxury spa day seem less exciting when you can’t have the full range of treatments. You can’t reach for that bottle of wine at the end of a hard day. You can’t even eat some good old fashioned gooey cheese (yep, that counts as a real treat for me!)

Valentine’s Day is all about showing the love and appreciation you have for your significant other. So if your lady just so happens to be working hard on growing a baby, she definitely deserves some pregnant friendly pampering and carefully thought out gifts come February 14th.

Being pregnant isn't an easy job, that's why this Valentine's Day, I have put together a list of Valentine's day gifts that pregnant women will love and appreciate. Treat your mum to be to some lovely presents and show her how much you value her with some fabulous gifts from our list. https://lukeosaurusandme.co.uk

Valentine’s Day Gift Guide For Pregnant Women

To start off with, how about a nice collection of Phil Smith hair products to care for those lushious locks? Phil Smith do a marvelous range of products that leaves hair glossy, sleek and frizz free. Try the Super Smooth Luminous Shampoo (£3), Glam Shine Ultimate Glossy Conditioner (£3.50), Total Treat Argan Oil Cream (£4) or the Glam Shine Glossing Serum (£4). All four smell wonderful, plus they help to transform the texture of your hair into lustrous silky locks. What more could you ask for? The products help to lock in moisture to heal dry, damaged hair and restore smoothness. Just in case you’re wondering, all the products are safe to use during pregnancy and breast feeding and are available exclusively in Sainsbury’s stores nationwide.

On the theme of looking and feeling great, why not treat your lovely lady to one of Hunkemoller’s gorgeous All Over Lace Kimonos. I reviewed one earlier this year and I have to say, their clothing is utterly fabulous. I think that it’s important to feel confident with your new body during and after pregnancy, and something like this really does help to give the ego a good old boost. If lingerie isn’t an option, Hunkemoller also sell loads of sleepwear (including some comfy looking PJs!), underwear, sportswear and swimwear.

It’s all jolly good feeling confident with the way you look, but it’s important for a pregnant woman to feel confident and empowered about the pregnancy journey and delivery. You may know that I’m pregnant with Baby Number 2. Upon hearing others rave about hypnobirthing, I decided to do some research into this natural approach to pregnancy. If you’re looking to have a calm and confident birth with your partner, The Hypnobirthing Book by Katharine Graves (£12.97) could make an excellent gift for mums to be. The book focuses on the production of oxytocin (that magical love hormone), the knowledge and skills needed to fend off fear, building confidence and bonding with your baby and partner both before and after birth. The hypnobirthing book also comes with a relaxation MP3 download to help you to drift off into your bubble of calm and practice the techniques learned. There will be a full review of the book up on Lukeosaurus And Me in a few weeks and I’m really looking forward to diving in and learning more about the benefits of hypnobirthing, so watch this space.

Looking for Valentine's Day gifts for pregnant women? This amazing and empowering hypnobirthing book by Katharine Graves would make the perfect gift! See the full Valentine's Day gift guide for pregnant women at https://lukeosaurusandme.co.uk

If she hasn’t already got one, pregnancy pillows are 100% worth it. It may sound like a cop out gift, but I guarantee that giving her the gift of a comfortable night’s sleep will be absolutely life changing. I haven’t listed a specific brand or type because they come in some many different shapes and sizes that it’s worth having a scroll through all of the different styles. For me, I needed something to support my back and something to go under my tummy. Sleeping on your side with the weight from your bump can twist and hurt your back, so having something to help take some of the weight off has made a huge difference to ability to sleep and therefore my overall mood.

A few weeks after finding out that I was pregnant, Mikey bought me a gorgeous Pregnancy Necklace from Not On The High Street. The idea behind the necklace is that you have a little chime ball at the end of a long chain that helps baby and mum to bond. When worn low over your growing bump, the soft chimes comfort the baby. Once your bundle of joy has been born, gently shaking the chime pendant can help sooth and calm your baby, even helping to aid sleep. If you’re looking for something original, this pendant makes a wonderful gift for a pregnant friend or partner, comes in a luxurious gift box and retails at £29. I wear mine every day and I really do love it. A gift from my partner that focuses around our baby and growing family just makes it extra special to me.

This pregnancy pendant from Not On The High Street makes the perfect gift for pregnant mums. Bond with baby during the pregnancy and post birth by using this gentle chime to sooth and calm your baby. It even aids sleep! See my full Valentine's Day gift guide for pregnant women at https://lukeosaurusandme.co.uk

It has come to my attention that some people don’t like bath bombs. I mean…I don’t know how anyone could dislike them, but if your mum to be is anything like me, she definitely won’t turn her nose up at Lush’s Valentine’s Day collection.

Burt’s Bees Mama Bee Belly Butter (£9.32). Oh boy, this is where it’s at when it comes to the confusing world of belly creams/lotions/butters. We all know that anything made by Burt’s Bees uses natural ingredients, is gentle on our skin, is rich in vitamins and free from chemicals and colourings. The Burt’s Bees Mama Bee Belly Butter makes the perfect gift for expectant mums who are looking for something to help maintain skin’s softness, suppleness and elasticity – the key factors involved in minimising the appearance of stretch marks.
