7 Amazing Sensory Bath Ideas
Having an exciting sensory bath is one of the items on mine and Luke’s January Bucket List. We’re really excited about this because it’s something we’ve never done before! However, we are hoping that it will become a more frequent occurrence during 2016… Do you want to know why I’m looking forward to ticking this one off the bucket list? Have a look at some of these amazing sensory bath ideas!
Neon Bath Paints – Adventures Of Adam
How amazing does this bath look? Yes, you do need some UV lights, but they’re easy to pick up online and I think it’s something I am definitely going to add to my Amazon cart!
Starry Night Bath – LarabeeUK
Leandra has made the ultimate starry night/space themed bath for T! I love the glow stick bracelets that add some real colourful fun and stand out against the dark bath water.
Making Bath Times Fun – Tantrums To Smiles
There are some great tips here on how to add some extra sensory fun to bath time. I love the glow sticks and the bubble machine!
Messy Play with GelliBaff – In The Playroom
Gellibaff is really fun and we’ve had so much fun with it previously. If you’re looking for a fun way to add some sensory play to your bath, definitely check out our Gellibaff review for ideas and more information.
Snowballs In The Bath
These are so cool (pun intended!)and so simple to make. I really want to try to make some of these with Luke. There are so many fun ways to play with these snowballs, both in the bath and for general sensory play.
Car Bath Play – Adventures of Adam
This one from Adventures of Adam is cheap and easy, but makes for a very effective bath time. These foam shapes are easy to come by, or you could even make them yourself. Luke is car mad and would absolutely love it! This is something that would work well in any bathroom, too, whether you have complete bathroom suites or you simply have a smaller bath to work with – so it’s something you should definitely think about.
Bathtime Illuminations – It’s Adam Again
This bath time requires the lights out, some soothing music on the old Spotify and an image projector. It looks like masses of fun.

Great ideas. I’ve always been put off doing one as my girl has eczema but lights or foam shapes would work great (or both together!).
