DenTek Eco-Friendly Self-Care Bundle Giveaway
It’s starting to feel very autumnal here in Hampshire. The weather has definitely started to shift, and those scorching hot summer days are becoming distant memories. We’ve just gone back to school, and so far we have been trudging along in a three-day long thunderstorm. It’s safe to say that we could certainly do with a little pick-me-up.
It’s Time For Some Self-Care
I’ve spoken about Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) in the past, and it’s something that affects 1 in 20 people in the UK. Although we might not be there yet, the shorter days are certainly noticeable, which means it’s time to start paying closer attention to our mental and physical health.
There are lots of ways for us to easily fit self-care into our daily routines, even those of us who are extremely busy. One of my favourite ways to take care of my mental health is to journal (I sometimes use mental health journal prompts to help inspire me), another is to have a good old-fashioned pamper session.
Self-Care Pamper Session
My favourite way to pamper myself is to have a nice long bath and read a good book (or listen to an audiobook). When you’re a busy mum, 40 minutes alone in the bathroom is bliss!
Another way to pamper myself as we come out of summer is to pay attention to the parts of my body that have been a bit neglected lately. Throughout summer, my skin always looks great. I seem to have my skincare game down, I end up with a nice tan, and I feel like my skin glows. However, as the weather starts to change and we are hit by colder, windier days, I do notice that my skin starts to look dull again. It’s usually around this time of year that I start to reassess my skincare routine, and also pay closer attention to my oral hygiene after a long summer of treats.
How DenTek Can Help Transform Your Smile
During the summer, I consumed a lot of chocolate, cake, wine, tea, coffee, and all those other treats that can damage or stain your teeth. That’s where DenTek comes in with their renewable plant-based products that can help prevent tooth decay and other dental issues.
I was staggered to learn that 31% of UK adults have tooth decay and 66% have visible plaque, but these statistics could easily be reduced by adding interdental cleaning to your oral hygiene routine. Did you know that a toothbrush alone only cleans around 60% of your mouth, leaving the other 40% to accumulate food debris and plaque? It’s crazy to think that by simply flossing and adding interdental cleaning to your oral hygiene routine, you could dramatically improve your oral health, and boost your self esteem and confidence with a healthy, happy smile.
To give your smile a boost and prevent bad breath, try adding DenTek’s floss picks or interdental brushes to your daily oral hygiene routine.

A policeman visited my grandon’s nursery when he was 3 year’s old. I have a photo with him dressed in the PC’s gear and him telling the visitor ‘when i grow up I want to be a policeman like you’ Despite being dyslexic he worked so hard through school and college and began his training in January. In June we were very proud grandparents seeing our 18 year old in his passing out parade. One of the best days not only of summer but of my life!
