If you haven’t yet heard about Wicked Uncle, it’s an online toy shop with an ingenious twist. Wicked Uncle is geared towards grand parents, cousins, uncles and aunts and other relatives/friends looking to buy the perfect toy for children. Wicked Uncle aim to make the gift giving process as easy as possible and here’s how.
Upon visiting the Wicked Uncle webpage, you’ll find that all the gifts available for sale are divided into super handy categories. You are able to use search fields for gender and age, as well as interests and personality types.
This feature is incredibly useful, especially for those who struggle to purchase age appropriate gifts or may worry that their present for your little one might not be well suited. It’s also a great place to find new exciting toys, puzzles, craft sets and STEM activities, as well as many more gift ideas that you may not have seen previously on other websites or in toy stores.
Wicked Uncle has sourced fabulous products and made them all available for you in one place. Have you had a look through the categories but still not sure what to get? Fear not, you can also view the most popular items that have been bought that month – fantastically useful if you’re buying in the run up for Christmas or for a summer celebration.
When asked if I want to collaborate with Wicked Uncle, I jumped at the chance. Luke is 2 years old and very nearly 3 – he’s quickly outgrowing a lot of his “toddler toys” and this gave us both the perfect chance to explore new and exciting possibilities.
After browsing the categories and being spoilt for choice, I finally settled on an Aquadoodle Stencil and Doodle Set, priced at £24.99 and a set of hand painted Mini Dinosaur Figures priced at £14.95 (what little boy doesn’t love dinosaurs?)
I was very impressed at how easy the Wicked Uncle website was to navigate when using my phone. Everything is where it should be and all the links work perfectly, making the whole process very quick and easy.
At the checkout, gift wrapping is presented as an option for a small fee – great if you’re buying a gift, or if you’re a parent, you can obviously choose to skip the step. As with most toy store sites, the option to add a message to the order is available; you can chose from many designs and have them hand written by the Wicked Uncle elves.
The delivery of our toys was prompt, using the standard royal mail postage option and the goods were packaged well. Luke’s eyes lit up as soon as he saw the big box arrive and he enjoyed tearing into the packaging.
The toys arrived in great condition and have provided hours of entertainment!
If you’re looking to buy some presents this summer, or maybe looking for some inspiration for Christmas, I would definitely recommend checking Wicked Uncle out. The website is easy to navigate and user friendly; there’s a huge variety of wonderful toys and activities to choose from and delivery is prompt and the gifts were well packaged!
