Busy mums, hard working colleagues, exceptional relatives – it’s no secret that us women work hard. No matter if you’re a stay at home mum, a working mum, a helpful relative or a hard working colleague, at Christmas you deserve some rest and relaxation! I’ve put this gift guide together for all those women who could do with taking it easy for a little while over the Christmas period. If you know a hardworking woman who could do with putting her feet up, here are some great gift ideas to help her relax over Christmas.

Black pair of leggings from Love Leggings with a Christmas star decoration in the background for a Christmas gift guide.

Love Leggings – Comfy, Relaxing Leggings

Love Leggings are my favourite brand of leggings and I truly recommend them to everyone. The Love Leggings are comfortable, thick, squat proof and are great for any occasion. I am a huge fan of the high waisted leggings, however Love Leggings stock a whole range of styles, including children’s clothes and jeggings. These leggings are warm and so comfortable, making them the perfect outfit choice for the Christmas period.

Christmas Gingerbread scented yankee candle

Candles

One of my favourite ways to unwind, especially in winter, is a with a candlelit bath. I’m a big fan of scented candles, and I love a good Christmas Yankee Candle. The smell of gingerbread wafting through the room, mixed with some posh bubble bath – oh nothing beats that! It’s the best way to have an hour to yourself and relax. Team it with a good book and you’re all set.

Beauty By Jas – Beauty Products – Great For Teens

Speaking of comfort and relaxation, why not treat your lucky lady to some affordable, animal friendly beauty products? Perfect for teenagers, Beauty By Jas has a full range of face and body beauty products that harness the natural powers of flowers. My favourite from the vast range is the Buff Beauty Face Scrub – it’s great for hydrating and brightening the skin. Beauty By Jas is the brainchild of 14 year old Jasmine, a teenager from Kent, who’s interest in natural beauty products became a business venture for her during the 2020 lockdown.

Slow Aging – Essential Firming Body Essence and Essential Bath Essence

Who doesn’t love a good pamper, especially during the Christmas period? The Slow Ageing range of beauty products aims to help slow down the ageing process by combining pure, quality ingredients that work in conjunction with your skin, and encourage a blissful, relaxing state of mind. Products can be bought separately as a gift to your loved ones, and Slow Ageing also offers a choice of selection packs.

Essential Bath Essence is pure relaxation in a bottle. Suitable for all skin types, this luxurious blend of fragrant rose, juniper and cypress oils enhance physical and mental energy, as well as renewing and protecting your skin cells. As well as being packed full of quality ingredients, the Slow Ageing Essential Bath Essence is also made in the UK, plastic free and cruelty free. The Slow Ageing Essential Firming Body Essence is a cocktail of 5 pure essential oils that are blended together to give you your softest skin ever. The scent is an intoxicating mix of ylang ylang, rosemary and lemon verbena that I just cannot get enough of. The benefits of the Essential Body Firming Essence include: firmer skin, boosted microcirculation and the flushing of dull skin toxins.

Neve’s Bees – Natural Lip Balms, Hand Salves and More.

For more British skin care options, why not consider some of the gorgeous 100% natural products from Neve’s Bees? These 100% beeswax goodies are made  by one beekeeping family in Oxfordshire. Premium local beeswax, essential oils and organic butters are used to create stunning products, including lip balms, solid soaps, hand salves, foot balms and so much more. The packing is so bright and cheerful, it’s impossible not to fall in love with these products. The lip balms are my favourite, and I love that Neve’s Bees only use natural ingredients, so there’s no petroleum jelly in sight. The Bee Happy slogan is really sweet and they even send out postcards with their orders.

It isn’t just humans Neve’s Bees cater for either, they also produce beautiful paw balms for dogs! My pooch hates being left alone, but using paw balm to help keep her calm while we’re out has helped her lots. It’s all ‘lick safe’ and is great for dry paws!

My Chronicle Book Box – Crime & Mystery/Sci-Fi & Fantasy Bookish Subscription Box

Fans of all things bookish will love the My Chronicle Book Box. The bookish subscription box was created when founder, Lousie, searched online, but couldn’t find a book subscription box that suited her tastes. In the end, they decided to make their own and they now ship worldwide. The My Chronicle Book Box focuses on Crime & Mystery and Sci-Fi & Fantasy novels and has a good choice of subscription offers. I have written a full review of the My Chronicle Book Box, so if this is something you think would make the perfect gift, feel free to give it a read!

Family Canvas Prints – ASDA Photo

Personally, as a mum, I’m the one walking around taking photos of everything. It’s so rare that I’m ever actually in a photo, so one thing that I know I’d absolutely love for Christmas is a big canvas print of my and my boys. I recently had a canvas printed by ASDA Photo and the quality is so top notch, I couldn’t fault it if I tried. The colours are great, the quality of the photo is just as it should be and the canvas is thick and sturdy. I love family canvas prints and I know that so many other mum’s I’ve spoken to do as well; it’s such a lovely way to preserve precious memories and they make fantastic gifts.
