Feeling Poorly & Missing Out On Things

What a long week! Luke and I have been total zombies this past week due to both having really horrible colds. Poor Luke has been throwing up from screaming, he must have had the worlds nastiest sore throat. We’ve not slept much and just generally had a bit of a pants week!

Hopefully next week will be full of fun…

We had so much planned this week and it’s a real shame we haven’t got to try out all our crafty ideas or tick anything off our Autumn Bucket List. Last Friday we collected a big bunch of leaves to make leafy hedgehogs, but unfortunately that didn’t happen. We also haven’t had a chance to pick blackberries yet; I fear that by the time we are able to go, they’ll all be gone. I think we need to make that a priority!

It seems whenever we get poorly, or Luke gets poorly, we always miss out on exciting things. Lots of opportunities come up that we have to turn down. It’s a real shame and is rather unlucky and depressing.

I am, however, very excited and motivated to get cracking next week and up the crafts and activities game. Luke can go back to his three afternoons at nursery as he’s missed an entire week and he absolutely loves it, I can crack some blog posts and YouTube videos out and hopefully get everything back on track!

What to know the best bit? I don’t have to watch CBeebies 24/7 !

Here’s to not being poorly anymore!

Oh no – sorry to read you’ve not been well. Nothing worse. Fingers crossed you’re all back to full health very soon and can get out and pick those blackberries before they’re all gone!

Thank you so much, my lovely. We’re alive and well again! Still haven’t got to our blackberries though, it’s making me feel rather depressed! Luke’s starting all over again with his routine at nursery though so he’s very emotionally and physically tired at the end of the day! Hopefully I’ll get to go really really soon! Xx
