Play Dough: Autumn Spiced Cinnamon
During this Autumn Bucket List post, I listed that during Autumn I wanted to make lots of spiced autumnal scented play dough for Luke.
Today we made our first batch with our first spice. The first Autumnal spice I came across in the cupboard was cinnamon. Probably one of my favourite flavours of spice and definitely one of my favourite scents; it conjures up images of cozy blankets, chai tea lattes and frosty mornings. Perfect for Autumn and Winter!
We used our basic play dough recipe, added a good few table spoons of cinnamon and mixed a big dollop of red poster paint in with the boiling water. The result: squishy, soft, wonderfully smelly autumn coloured play dough.
We teamed this Autumn Spiced Play Dough with:
- Colourful match sticks
- Various sized and coloured bottle tops
- Plastic dinosaurs
- Silicone cupcake cases
- Letter cookie cutters
