Why Your Kids Will Love a Ping Pong Table

Having recently celebrated National Table Tennis Day and then the World Cup, it becomes crucial to constantly remind ourselves about this great play. Just like football, table tennis has slowly gained recognition and acceptance as the fair game for everyone. There is just no limitation to who can participate. Nevertheless, unlike football, there are no restrictions as to the age, gender or even personality who is allowed to enter the table-tennis pitch.

This has primarily been the greatest advantage of this amazing sport. Ping pong, as most would like to call it, can host a frail 80-year-old woman as well as an 8-year old who’s ambitious enough. Don’t be surprised to find these particular lots facing it off with people who are in the prime of their lives and embarrassing them mercilessly.

Anywhere, Anyone, Anytime

Other than being a great way to exercise, ping pong has the extra advantage that it can be played anywhere – whether inside the house or on some beach or even in a deserted forest. The game makes use of a table which comes in all different forms sure to meet your every need. Whether you are the best at it or only a beginner or whether you want a permanent or a temporary one, there are tables for every scenario. So how will these tables give your family the best experience?

Fair Mind Play

Table tennis is an amazing game that basically sets your mind to work much faster as you increase your speed to meet and surpass your opponents’. Kids find it glorious when playing with adults. But in often cases, the latter tend to allow their younger ones to win in most games in the name of modesty. I bet kids secretly get bored of this as they grow up; I know I did. But this is not the case with table tennis. It provides them with a fair play where, with enough dedication, you’re going to be roasted fair and square. In this case for kids, glorious is an understatement.

Humbling Sense of Entitlement

Table tennis is humbling too. The difficulty levels are nothing in comparison with the easier tennis games which use larger rackets. This genuinely develops in your kids a sense of respect for the winner. If they happen to be the winner, they are sure to get that humble glory and spirit of hard work. This is called the gentle-ninja-feeling.

It’s More Than Just Tennis

What’s more, as your kids grow and start throwing parties, ping pong will soon be converted to beer pong. Well, they rather do it at home than wait to hear negative reports outside. Let’s call this a favorable multi-purpose use – it doesn’t mean you can’t throw parties and have your fun as you try to aim.

The designs and portability of most table tennis make them a go for many people. The budget is also within friendly limits thus the wide availability in the market. What’s more, they come in different sizes making it easy to decide whether you want it indoors or in the sun.

Well, as it seems, your kid is not the only one set to benefit from a ping-pong table purchase. The experience is exhilarating, to say the least, and everyone deserves a piece of this. What are you waiting for?

It is more than just table tennis Rachael, I totally agree. I grew up playing table tennis in our backyard. A lot of years have passed and we still have the table but now with stains of beer cups and minimal discoloration from chemicals that I used for my school projects back then. I still use it sometimes for solo ping pong practice.
